The app has turned one week old 🎉
🔨 Today, I want to share my vision for the development of the Samohid app. At the moment, the main focus will be on bug fixes and performance optimization to build a stable foundation for further development, but new features will also be released.
💡 Here are a few ideas for updates:
- Custom tags: the ability for users to create their own tags for cars, for quick sorting, searching, or just as a note.
- Package options: this is a significant update from a program logic perspective, which involves bundling several options into one package, as often happens with car manufacturers. In the future, this implementation will allow for creating a configured car, with selected options, and saving this created configuration for the future.
- Available car colors: the ability to see the available colors for a car and their prices.
- Improvements in the “My car” section: deeper work with accessories for your car, adding information to statistics, additional data fields.
- Improvements in the car comparison screen.
- Widgets on the home screen.
- Developing car export in PDF format, with more templates.
👆 It’s worth noting that these improvements and their format are not final and may change or not be made at all.
🚗 In the next update, the rest of the Skoda model range will be added to the list of cars, which will be around the beginning of June.
